NY NY Pizza provides flexible scheduling for part-time and full-time positions.  Pay is on a bi-weekly basis with cash-out of tips occurring daily.  Delivery drivers will receive an auto reimbursement equal to 10 cents per mile.

 

*Delivery Driver Qualifications:  Must have reliable transportation and full coverage auto insurance.  A motor vehicle report will be run for all delivery drivers, and driver must have a satisfactory driving record to be considered for employment.

 

Job Description – Pizza Maker

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Engage in activities associated with the preparation, cooking, and delivery of menu items to company specifications for service to customers.  Duties extend to sanitation of pizza workstation, including restocking, cleaning, and trash disposal.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Food preparation such as weighing, measuring, washing, peeling, chopping, dicing, cutting, slicing, mixing, seasoning, and portioning
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations to ensure smooth operations during peak times
  • Toss dough and make pizza according to recipe
  • Ensure pizza is cooked, handled, stored, and labeled within food safety guidelines
  • Take pizza orders from customers at take-out window; total order including all taxes, collect payment and give correct change to customer; delivery food to customer
  • Market canned drinks to customer at take-out window
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
  • Observe safety procedures when using pizza oven
  • Read food order slips as to food order of patrons; prepare food according to instructions
  • Verify before serving customer that food meets quality and quantity standards
  • Store leftover food in proper containers in the appropriate storage area with container showing the correct date
  • Follow all food safety handling procedures, including regular hand washing
  • Keep records of quantity of foods used
  • Be punctual for all shifts; assist in training coworkers; adhere to company policies and procedures

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Food preparation such as weighing, measuring, washing, peeling, chopping, dicing, cutting, slicing, mixing, seasoning, and portioning
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations to ensure smooth operations during peak times
  • Preparing a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and side items
  • Must be able to prepare multiple items and/or orders simultaneously
  • Ensure food is cooked, handled, stored, and labeled within food safety guidelines
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, mixers, and deep-fryers
  • Read food order slips as to food order of patrons; prepare food according to instructions
  • Verify before placing order in warming area that food meets quality and quantity standards
  • Store leftover food in proper containers in the appropriate storage area with container showing the correct date

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Provide table service to dine-in patrons which includes obtaining food and/or beverage orders and delivery of any food and/or beverage items.  This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner to obtain a high level of customer satisfaction.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, and explain any specials and/or promotions
  • Present menu, answer questions, and make recommendations
  • Record the details of the customer’s order; repeat the order back to the customer to ensure accuracy
  • Retrieve completed order from the kitchen, confirm its accuracy, and deliver to the customer along with appropriate condiments
  • Replenish beverages as necessary and check with customers for overall satisfaction
  • Present to and close-out customer check using Point of Sale system
  • Answer phones, take customer orders; repeat the order back to the customer to ensure accuracy
  • Input phone orders in the Point of Sale system to inform cook and pizza maker of the particulars of the customer order
  • Prepare for delivery all to-go orders, confirm accuracy, and notify next available driver that order is ready
  • Abide by all State, Federal, Local, and Corporate regulations pertaining to serving and alcoholic beverages
  • Market and serve upon request any desserts

Engage in activities that involve cleaning dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and any other items used in the restaurant’s delivery of service to the customers.  Activities extend to the dining, stockroom, and restroom areas that need general cleaning.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Hand washing pots, pans, trays, utensils, drink cups, food baskets, and any other items that need to be cleaned on a regular basis.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping kitchen area, dining room area, stockroom, bathroom floors, and hallway.
  • Regularly inspect dining room floor and scrub grout along edges of bar area, walls, and drink coolers.
  • Wipe down and clean drink coolers, refrigerators, and food storage areas.
  • Clean front entrance door and windows
  • Check trash cans that may need to be emptied. Wash out trash cans daily and replace with new liners.
  • Assist servers during peak times with bussing tables, including wiping down table tops and seats.
  • Organize stock room inventory, and assist coworkers in stocking products in food and drink cases.
  • Check restrooms to ensure properly stocked with toilet paper, hand towels; clean mirrors and countertops, wipe down door handles.
  • Be punctual for all shifts; assist in training coworkers; adhere to company policies and procedures.
